 Lake Tahoe to Loon Lake Trailhead
Start your adventure in Lake Tahoe, where you’ll meet your guides and prepare for the journey. After a scenic drive to the **Loon Lake Trailhead**, the gateway to the Rubicon Trail, the adventure begins. Navigate rugged terrain as we make our way to **Ellis Creek**, joining the **Wentworth Springs section**. This historic route is rich in scenic beauty and technical challenges.
 
 Ellis Creek to Placer County via Buck Island Reservoir**  
After lunch, tackle the trail's thrilling technical sections, starting with **Walker Hill**, which features three unique and challenging obstacles. From there, we’ll head to **Little Sluice**, the Rubicon Trail's most iconic and demanding section. Once we conquer this legendary stretch, we’ll continue to the serene **Buck Island Reservoir** for a break, then make our way to the **Placer County line**, completing the off-road portion of the trip. Return to Lake Tahoe in the evening to relax in luxurious accommodations.  
 
We will be Camping one night on the trail based on how far we get  on Day 1.
